Car and Driver/ NoHotWire Nissan 350Z team took a break, skipping two races in Miami and Newton, Iowa, to recover. A new hand-assembled 330-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 was procured from Hasselgren Engineering, and the crew at Impact Engineering, the race shop in San Jose, California, that originally transformed this Z from a stock road car to a racer, sorted through other nagging issues.
